Follow the Experts @ Melaka

Last month, my friends and I joined the Tamron club for the photography outing called Follow the Experts 1 at Melaka town. The event started off as for the ice breaking and knowledge sharing. We spent whole day to go around under the hot shinning sun to capture the photos along Melaka river. I didn't take many photos or rather I didn't select many photos here since I didn't manage capture any nice photos. So there I have couple of photos to post up along the entry.

MID 2011

MID, the Malaysian Institute of Directors, Leadership of Innovation 2011 was held at Shangrila Hotel, KL. The events was celebrate to pay tribute and recognition to the leading Malaysian institutions.

p.s. just a note, those food was a-ok... yeah that's the word.

Nikon 10th Anniversary

Couple of weeks ago I attended the Nikon 10th year anniversary at Mid Valley Exhibition Center.

The event started at 11am, however, many people have arrived earlier. I was shocked when I saw the crowd ran inside the hall the moment the gate was open. Imagine the crowd with full gears running toward the convention hall instead of pretty girls.

The event held up for 4 days from March 31st to April 03rd. My friend and I went on the last day, there were three speakers on that day: Dr. Teh Ban Hup expertize in Light Photography, Jim Liaw for Wedding Photography and Deanna Ng for Street Photography.

All the speakers have shared their experience as well as how they went through all the obstacles and deal with challenges. Well, of course you will need to be up for the challenge like enough gear to deal with haha.

I would say it was an ok event. No expectation, no disappointment. :)

Ok, to be honest, I can't get through the crowd. They were bigger, taller and more daring. So I could only stand at the side....far far far away hahaha

That's why Zoom Lenses invented at the first place! Darn, I shall get one , no?

LuxOnU Pre-Opening

I was asked to go to the pre-opening gathering at LuxOnU at Puchong couple of weeks ago. It was not an official invitation but we were welcome just like official guests.

The shop is located at 23-2, Jalan Kenari 12, Bandar Puchong Jaya. The concept of the shop is pretty simple, you shop there if you feel like getting a bite, you can grab some sweet like cupcake or any other cakes that serve in the shop make by Jessica.

The gathering had three sessions, there was cakes tasting, wine tasting and tip sharing session.
Jessica had done a great job on the cakes and the pies.... they were absolute delicious~

Here come the third session that really excited the girls. Marcus and Rachel gave tips on how to detect the original branded bags as well as how to take good care of the bags.
