It begins to look a lot like Christmas

That's what Michael Buble has been repeatedly singing in my office hehe.

This year I don't have much time to bake any cookies for Christmas, so for the last minute baking I chose cheesecake cupcake. Easy and quick!

Here we have my second wedding shoots, not so proud of it though. Took for a while and the shots are just ok. Geez when can I have more time to practice T___T.

Anywho, this time is not any stranger, the couple is my friends and also is my best friend's brother. So, I was just help out :)

The wedding started off wit the 1st dinner reception at Subang Parade for the Bride's side, continue the next day for the entourage and there was a 2nd dinner reception at Alor Start for the Groom's side. Pretty tiring for the late night shoot and the next early morning to continue with.

New Year Gathering

ah hem *clearing-throat*, okie people, I know I'm late to post this but at least I post it =D
So this year just like last year, not so many of us can make it for the gathering. Well we all just grown up and have our own lives, nothing much to add on to that.

I'm not sure why every new year we will have steamboat buffet, but we did.

Happy Khmer New Year 2010

Alrighty, I'm a bit late but not too late because today is the third day of Khmer New Year.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all my fellow families and all friend a very happy new year and may you have a great year ahead.

Chinese New Year - Feb 2010

Since I started to work in Malaysia, either I couldn't make it for Chinese New Year celebration or I will be there for working and holidays. A little bit different, this year I took leave to join my family CNY celebration.
Return home a day before the festive kicked in, met up with relatives and help mom to prepare the praying.
Our tradition, we pray on the day before the 1st day of CNY. In the morning, we all will get up really early to cook many dishes and prepared for the festive. There will be fruits, cakes, flowers, drinks, paper money, many dishes of home cook food and etc.

Some family pray in the afternoon some in the evening. The praying time is depend on the different type of God they believe in.

























Just before the josticks are burnt out, the paper money will be burn and the belief is that you're not supposed to say hot while burning the papers and all the papers must be all burn out and not torn apart.
After everything is done, all the relatives will have lunch together just like Open house in Malaysia or other places that I might know of.

Today is Thursday, February 11, 2010. January is already over. Time flies. Too fast. And here I am sitting in front of computer in the office doing what I think I like to do and living what I think I own, life. Loading up my to do list of the year. Loading up my commitment list. And very very slowly cross them out one by one at a time ~____~

Alrighty, whining time is over. I'm off back home tomorrow, won't be able to access or anywhere near by the Internet till I return.
So...don't miss me so much, okie? (lame joke) hahaha

On the New Year's Eve

We had dinner at my place after work. We didn't have much time so we decided to order food from outside. I never thought it could be so much fun and everyone actually can made it to the dinner and celebrate the new year count down together.... It was a good night, much better than Christmas's Eve where I spent time alone at home drinking vodka and looking at the moon and the start *_*

Anyway, say no more let the photo do the talking.... actually there weren't many photo because we were having so much fun playing Taboo and drinking (Thanks Pete for the new game, I really love it) and forget about the photo....

We sat down and chitchatted till the countdown to 01.01.2010. I've been really blessed and supportive by friends even though I couldn't celebrate the new year with family, but this means a lot to me. Thank you all for being at the dinner/party. It was a wonderful dinner.


And this is what I saw in the morning when I clean up... no wonder Richie was making pancakes everywhere last night hahahaha
