vent

During my last visiting the Orchestra at MPO KLCC early October, I was impressed by the young pianist at age of 11, Tengku Ahmad Irfan Tengku Ahmad, and he can perform really well. Not just that he composes the song as well.

I always wanted to learn music, but I've never been giving such chance to fulfill what I actually wanted to do. The fact is, there is always the fact, that I have to do what I think I should be doing. For example facing the reality that I have to work and live my own life and think about the people around me like family.

I'm not sad or blaming anyone or anything from stopping me to do what I wanted to do, I'm just thinking out loud. And hey, one thing I can do I can always spare sometime to do it because I just love to do it not to live by it.
Hmmm maybe not now, or not so soon. I have so much on my plates... I can almost vomit blood everyday. O.o||

Now, check out more version of young musicians. I love their talents and efforts. I love them.

2009 October: Melaka, Malaysia

Last weekend, my colleagues and I went to Melaka since we had a Saturday off from Deepavali fest. Speaking of which, Happy belated Deepavali to all ^_^

Kah wai and Dennis

Melaka is one of the smallest states in Malaysia beside Pelis and Penang. It's also known as historical state. It was colonized by two European countries, Nederlands and Portugal during the 15 century.
I've been there couple of times but didn't manage to shoot nice pictures. Most of the times I spent at the food stalls hehe. This time, I managed to capture most of the area except few that we have to give up to choose among one and another ~>_<~

Trishaws, Christ Church and the Clock Tower @ Stadthuys Square

Fort A Famosa

Istana Kesultanan Melaka

Melaka Malay Sultanate Water Wheel

Local business men attract the tourists with wild animal photographing

Beside historical places of interest, Melaka has quite a number of famous local foods that everyone must try when they were there.
You will see the queue lining up for three things, for sure:

Chicken rice ball

Cendol

and Satay Celup

Other local and Nyonya foods and desserts...

Lontong

Ayam goreng cilli garam

Asam Ikan

kuis

Quite a nice place to walk around but it could get pretty heaty, Kah wai was a little bit sun burned though -____-"
Next time if I were there again, please remind me to go to the jetty because everyone told me that I should have been there ~>___<~

p.s. More photo on facebook and flickr.

Couple of days ago, my colleagues and I attended the conference about Cloud Computing and Virtualization. Realizing that I am so out of date of the latest trend technologies, all of the sudden I have all the commitment and self-promised to get some stuffs done afterward. Oh well, I guess I only can be motivated for that period. O.o|| Now I am still as lazy as earlier me lolz.

At the end of the day, the 4 years old bonsai was given away to the attendee in return of the feedback form lolz

Dom's happy with his.
