Delusion vs Dejavu

My heart keeps pounding so fast with no reason. There is this little voice whispering behind my ears that, "something is not right, get ready for it". I wonder is it what they call Dejavu? I'm not sure what will happen but it is not gonna be good thing.

"...Surveys have revealed that as much as 70% of the population have had these experiences, usually between ages 15 to 25, when the mind is still subject to noticing the change in environment." [quoted from Wikipedia]

Mind is still subject to noticing the change in environment? I have notice the different and keep telling myself it is just me thinking too much. That means it is true that something is really not in the right place and it is not just my delusion.

Sigh~ I just hope it is not what is on my mind right now. [:(] It is too heavy to handle.
And I'm soooo scared of whatever is gonna happen right now. I fear of losing whatever I have right now. Losing things that cannot get back once I've lost it.

sunday dinner...

I ran out of idea and materials to cook for dinner, so I flipped through my cooking books. Yesh, I found Recipe for Bread Pudding. I also left 4 pieces of bread so I decided to take risk [normally if not enough ingredients I won't play with food one lo]

It turns out nice [even though I didn't complete the recipe]

I also cook Asam Fish hahaha...can't believe I can do it lolz...

It doesn't look good in the photo...but it did taste good [:P] kekeke

Bread Pudding Recipe:

*serve for 2

- 25g unsaled butter
- 4 thick slices bread
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sultanas
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 1/2 cup (125ml) milk
- 1 cup (250ml) cream
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tbsp demerara sugar

1) Preheat the oven to moderate 180c (350F/Gas 4). Melt 10g of the butter and use to brush a 1.5L oven proof dish. Spread the bread very lightly with the remaining butter and cut each slice in half diagonally. Layer the bread in the prepared dish, sprinkling the cinnamon and sulatanas between each layer.

2) Lightly whisk together the egg, egg yolk and caster sugar in a large bowl. Heat the milk with the cream until just warm and stir in the vanilla. Whisk the cream mixture into the egg mixture. Strain the custard over the layered bread, then leave for 5 minutes before sprinkling with the demerara sugar.

3) Bake for 30minutes, or until the custard has set and the bread is golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.

So I went to Alamanda to get some stuff for baking this evening. Before getting the stuff, we drop by Lemongrass for dinner. It is a self-service restaurant which serve only Local Foods.

Lemongrass @ Alamanda

Basically, the food in the above photo is all they have in the menu [=.="]

Asam Laksa

Noodle Soup

Nasi Lemak with Rendang Kambing

Ok la, even there is not much thing in the menu but the food is ok [passed the Customer Satisfactory].

Oldies...

Today is my very old old old friend's Birthday.

I know this boy since I was in 4th grad till now. My childhood life wasn't bad, it is memorable. Well, I remember "the two boys and a girl fired the fireworks" story, "the two girls climb down from second floor apartment through the water pipe" story and lots more hehehe.

16 years of knowing him, he is cheerful, entertaining, helpful and mature. I was once fall in love with him and so was him lolz. It was called puppy love. Now we are good friend [just ignore the puppy love part :P]

Phirun, thank you for cheering me up and always with me when I need a friend to talk to.

Wishing you a very very happy birthday.

*peace*

Another side of the world

[Disclaimer: This blog contents are not intended to distract to anyone. The author is not responsible direct, indirect, incidental or consequential ridicule resulting from the contents.]

We went to Terengganu last Tuesday and it was really amazing. It was a wonderful experienced trip I have ever had in my life.

[It is gonna be a pretty long blog entry [:D]]

We took bus there, expected 8-9hours to reach Terengganu. Unfortunately, we were cheated by the bus ticket seller whom supposed to sell us the bus ticket to Kuala Besut instead he sold to us the ticket to Kuala Terengganu [for those whom not familiar with the place: in order to reach Kuala Besut you need to take taxi which will cost you RM 100]. Fine~ it is alright, we are willing to pay for the taxi since we are already prepared for the trip.

Unbelievable! the bus was late like 20mn! Never mind, then when we hopped in the bus there was aunty sitting at our seat and the driver so rude keep shouting at us to move. Then after 15mn driving, the bus stopped and the driver asked us to go down and change the bus [never tell the reason why, we suspected the bus broke down]. When we moved to another bus, no one follow the seat number already! we had to sit at the back. WTF! what kind of bus company is this? the driver so rude, the seller no responsibility! SHIT, this is ridiculous! We even asked them before we bought the bloody tickets and they simply tell us it is the same destination.
Tips: Remember the bus company: SUTERA LINER sdn bhd. It is a complete lousy!

Enough of the madness [really spoil my mood to write]. We basically passed two states, Pahang and Kelantan, before we reach Terengganu. We left Kuala Lumpur at <10.30pm> and reach Kuantan [the city of Pahang] at <03.23am>, <04.56am> reach Kelantan, and reach Kuala Terengganu at <05.58am>. From Kuala Terengganu, we took taxi to Kuala Besut. To be honest, I am always terrify to take taxi [at anywhere unless it is emergency]. So when we were in the taxi I just kept quiet and Ben did the talking with the taxi driver. From the conversation, I can felt the trustworthy of the driver [they communicated in BM, so I can't really understand]. He was very informative and straightforward. "He whom earning the trust for living is the real good man" [my respects].

<07.48am> reach Kuala Besut

No talking!!....just get off the bus then taxi...after 10 hours [*blushing*]

<08.35am> we took the speed boat to Pulau Perhentian Bersar and it was really exciting [:D].
<10.00am> the action started!

[it's all about the sand, the sea and the coconut trees]

[oopppsss just the tree [:P]]

and we saw this weird fruit that look almost exactly like pineapple but rather than grows on the ground, it grows on the tree~

Fruit of the pandanus palm, also called the screw pine.

The trip was 3D2N and we really had fun and wonderful time.
We went snorkeling for six places out of three islands: Perhentian , Redang and Lang Tengah island.

The guides brought us to this Spring Water where the only fresh spring water in the middle of the sea. According to the local people the water come from the ground and it really freaking cold!

The sweet part is... we gotta lie down on the beach...with the moon and stars and listen to the wave... [awww i really miss it]

[I have no idea why there is a line behind the moon... [=.="]]
After this we hit the little candlelite pub near by the chalet that we stayed

...and...whacha lookin at!

Everything is awesome! we gotta see the big turtle, baby sharks, nemo [apparently, the locals call the black and white nemo as Panda nemo, and Tomato nemo is the one with the orange and black color~ they are really cute] and its host, transparent squid [believe me they are really hard to find], the giant eel [it really freak me out when I saw it] and the super size Garupa fish and lots and lots and lots colorful fishes... I was a bit terrified when I first snorkel in the open sea but after all the feeling is wonderful.

This is amazing to see another wonderful side of the world~!

not without these guys whom brought us around to these amazing places [I'm planning to go again next year and Ben is planning to go for diving kekeke]

p.s.: big big thanks to my ben ben for organizing this trip....muaxmuax~!
p.s.s.: the day we left only I found out that one of the guides speaks Thai or else I won't have trouble understanding them speaking Chinese all these while... [=.="]

Easy Cupcake Recipe

[make for 24 cupcakes]

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
• 1 1/3 cups sugar
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon chocolate flavour
• 2 large eggs

Easy Cupcake Recipe Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pans with paper liners.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add shortening, milk, and chocolate flavour. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape side of bowl with a spatula.

Add eggs to the mixture. Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Scrape bowl again. Beat on high speed for 1 minute 30 seconds until well mixed.

Spoon cupcake batter into paper liners until 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool 5 minutes in pans then remove and place on wire racks to cool completely.

Once cupcakes are completely cooled, frost with your favorite frosting recipe or decorate as you desire.

p.s.: this recipe was taken from cupcakesrecipe.com but instead of using vailla, I used chocolate flavour [:P]

The Election

Come to think of it, every where is the same. They all are very active a month or two before the election...after all they all are the same.

I follow my bf to vote [not I vote, he vote. I just went and take a look around] @ kepong.

counters to get the number for the room to vote

while voting...

calling voter's number and name to go in the cubicle and vote!

kanopi outside of the voting area...look like they are giving *free* mineral water.

Hmmm think back again, at least here they have a proper procedure [shade] for the voters to get the numbers or vote...wanna see how it look like in Cambodia?

....yesh..we have to line up [even it is raining] to get to vote!

then we have to dip our index finger in the black ink just to confirm we have voted! [O_o]

Okay, let take a look about the election campaign. In Malaysia, the election campaign is simple and easy.

What about Cambodia? Let see....

Hahahaha that's a lot different [=.="]
