The recollection

Since early last year, I have only to remember to stock up hard liquor and beers... And recently I'm craving for the long lasting flavor and full mouth bitter flavor from wine. So it's time to stock up.

So last Sunday I finished up the whole bottle, with a little help from a friend though :), of a full bodies Nederburge Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz 2010 from South Africa. It was a pretty selection.

Claret Chateau de Poriton Cabernet Sauvignon, France, a little too sour for me though. Would be nice with red medium rare meat. That reminded me of the grilled wagyu beef I had in my last trip to Kota Kinabalu.

So I ended up bought a couple more bottles to endure the taste a little longer.

Added to my very own minibar which locates in my bedroom for easy access whenever I feel like it.

Ahhh what a good feeling by just looking at them.

Anyhow, Chinese New Year is around the corner and I would like to wish everyone a prosperous and blessing year a head.

On the New Year's Eve

We had dinner at my place after work. We didn't have much time so we decided to order food from outside. I never thought it could be so much fun and everyone actually can made it to the dinner and celebrate the new year count down together.... It was a good night, much better than Christmas's Eve where I spent time alone at home drinking vodka and looking at the moon and the start *_*

Anyway, say no more let the photo do the talking.... actually there weren't many photo because we were having so much fun playing Taboo and drinking (Thanks Pete for the new game, I really love it) and forget about the photo....

We sat down and chitchatted till the countdown to 01.01.2010. I've been really blessed and supportive by friends even though I couldn't celebrate the new year with family, but this means a lot to me. Thank you all for being at the dinner/party. It was a wonderful dinner.


And this is what I saw in the morning when I clean up... no wonder Richie was making pancakes everywhere last night hahahaha

Night @ Brussels

Went out to Brussel @ Jaya1 area to meet up with KB, our ex-colleague. It was quite a night, many of us went together. Caught up with old friends and got to know new faces.

That's right, we are beer drinker.

I was browsing through my baking book... something caught my eyes. It's Irish Cream Cupcakes.
A coffee mixes liquor cake. That's very interesting, isn't it? And so I baked.
Next's on the menu maybe, just maybe, Tiramisu Cupcake *wings*

So last week I went out for some activities, went for marathon, eat eat and eat, drink drink and drink and movie!

After the marathon, we rushed back, get clean and come back out for our hunger fulfillment XD
Dennis nak makan nasi (baked nasi lagi)...while Jenn Ting nak makan good food (the definition of good food: vegeterian T___T). Ah well... so we went to Manhattan Fish Market... hahaha

Oh hey, we bumped into Nicholas and the sister. So we had lunch together gether loh...

After makan, I shopped for a while and got my cardigan from MNG *tearing eyes*...
Then we head for the movie, Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen. It was a great movie and lots of actions. Sadly, me and Dennis were catching some Z whatthefuck T____T because we were too tired loh...

Me wanna watch again, anybody care to go with me? Please pretty please.... *crying*

Aaaaanyway.... after the movie we went for drinks @ Laundry Bar, the curve. hehehe
This is the first time that we all (well most of us) went out for drinks without any occasion/events hehe Should do this more often :P
